Don't these look awesome? This is a pesto roll recipe from A Year in Bread. Mine, I think, are prettier than they are delicious. The last batch of pesto I made should have been better. I have decided I like pesto with almonds more than with pine nuts. Anyhow, they are gorgeous and not bad. I am looking forward to trying them with a different filling.
